Sneak Peek- Tastes of #TheCollectiveFoodie!

March is an exciting month at The Collective Affair offices because not only are we loving the longer, lighter days, but we are also prepping for our second annual foodie event on April 4th! Set to take place in the heart of the city at Angel City Brewery, we couldn't have asked for a trendier Arts District setting. Housed in one of the coolest buildings in the area, Angel City offers a rotating selection of seasonal beers on tap, many of which are exclusively available at the brewery-- the Pineapple Saison and Angel City LAger are two of our absolute favorites!

"Speed tasting" is the concept for this year's event, so guests will have the chance to taste from some of LA's most sought after restaurants in a curated-and timed-food experience. Each unique dish will be paired with an Angel City beer and the evening will conclude with a delicious beer and Beauty Bar Chocolate tasting!

The menu for the evening will be a surprise but we had to tempt you with a sneak peek at the featured restaurants and the style of cuisine you can look forward to enjoying...

71 Above- Presenting elevated modern American cuisine by Chef  Vartan Abgaryan, 71 Above is the highest restaurant west of the Mississippi with some of the cities most breathtaking views! Showcasing dishes like venison made with beet, blackberry, black vinegar, charred cabbage, and juniper, the cuisine is incredibly diverse and the presentation is unlike anything we've ever seen.   Join us on April 4th and experience a dish they made exclusively for the evening!

Baldoria DTLA- Embracing the lifestyle of the laissez faire where anything is possible, Baldoria is the place you come to experience all that life has to offer, and if a quick bite turns into an afternoon of vino with new friends, so be it! Offering dishes that range from charred octopus pizza to pistachio crusted grapes and Carribean spiced duck wings, we can't wait for you to experience what they have in store for #TheCollectiveFoodie!

The Edmon-  Built in 1927 and residing inside the Hollywood Historic Hotel, The Edmon is a national landmark, once home to some of the most talented stars of silent films. The restaurant captures the beauty of a bygone era in both its old world appearance and fine-dining menu. With show-stopping staples like their hangar steak with jalapeño and bone marrow vinaigrette to happy hour gems like duck confit tacos, we have no doubt they'll bring nothing but foodie fabulousness to our event in April!

The Nixon Chops & Whiskey- Situated in the architecturally inspired neighborhood of Whittier, The Nixon brings flavors inspired by Chef Katsuji Tanabe’s childhood. With a global flare and slight Mexican touch, the menu is anything but typical and will leave you salivating for more. From a Colorado Wagyu Flat Iron all the way to their Maple Glazed Double-Cut Duroc Pork Chop, we can only imagine what delicious and decadent concoctions they've been dreaming up for #TheCollectiveFoodie

Brackshop Tavern- Celebrated for great food and warm people, Brackshop Tavern is known as a place bursting with flavor, positive vibes, and an energetic ambiance. With lots of options to please both meat-eaters and vegetarians, their menu ranges from comfort food like southern fried tofu sliders and fried chicken sandwiches to shrimp, chicken and andouille gumbo and banana cream pie for dessert. Wonder what they have up their sleeve for our event next month? Guess you'll just have to join us to find out...

We hope that this sneak peak has your mouth watering and can't wait to see you on the evening of April 4th! And, after all of your foodie fantasies are fulfilled, we'll be sending you home with over $100 in swag. Buy your tickets HERE and if you're a foodie influencer or start-up, make sure to select the tickets priced specially for you. See you soon!
