The Collective Travels- Renaissance Downtown Hotel
Last November we took our trip to Dubai with the intention of exploring the city and meeting with influencers and business owners. While we were there we had the exciting opportunity to check out the Renaissance Downtown Hotel before it opened to the public. We were absolutely blown away!
We have a few trips planned this year and hope to make the hotel our new home away from home, and since Dubai is becoming quite the hotspot, we thought we'd share with you why we feel this is the must-stay place in the city.
The design is distinctive and awe inspiring with uninterrupted views of Dubai's most iconic landmarks. It is located on the Dubai Water Canal in Business Bay which makes for a fun sensory adventure.
The natural flow of the space pulls you in as you walk through the lobby with its natural wood finishes, exposed ironwork beams, and the unexpected warmth of an open fireplace. The color palette is black and gold which is drawn from the regions resources of gold and oil.
It's pretty much a content creators dream! It's a great place to socialize, plan and execute meetings, and of course, to eat!
The hotel is home to a lounge and four restaurants.
- BHAR Middle Eastern Brasserie- The cuisine is crafted by Chef Mohanad Alshamali in a playful space that features bold colors, local patterns, and regional textures.
- Bleu Blanc- Chef David Meyers works his magic here again with some southern France farmhouse flair. The first aromas you'll encounter are the floor to ceiling aromatic herb garden, swiftly followed by the inviting scent of freshly baked bread and then the wood-fired grill takes center stage.
- Morimoto Dubai- Coming soon Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto will showcase his menu which infuses Japanese traditional dishes with western ingredients and preparation techniques.
We are so excited to share this hotel with you and if you're looking to head to Dubai, The Renaissance is a must. We can't wait for our next visit. We may never leave!
